Build A Bed: Teambuilding for an Important Cause

More than 50 Metro employees came together and participated in a Build a Bed event, organized by local non-profit Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless, at our corporate headquarters in Chelsea on Tuesday, October 24. A Bed for Every Child provided the materials and guidance, and Metro teams worked together to build ten ready-to-go twin beds for local children. Metro also provided pillows, sheets, a comforter, and a teddy bear with every bed.
A Bed for Every Child collaborates with community partners on these meaningful teambuilding events to promote the well-being of children in need. The Build a Bed Program helps ensure children in our community fall asleep safe, warm, and cozy each night.
