Metro Credit Union Welcomes New Manager at Newton Branch
Robert Cashman, President and CEO of Metro Credit Union, is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian Rought as Branch Manager at Metro’s Newton branch, located at 334 Watertown St. in Newton, MA.
As Branch Manager, Rought is responsible for managing the Newton branch directing daily operations and overseeing the development of consumer and business relationships for the branch. He is also responsible for the professional development of staff through training, coaching, and mentoring.
Prior to his appointment as Newton Branch Manager, Rought was a Floating Manager at Metro where he oversaw operations at multiple branches. Rought brings over 31 years of banking experience to Metro, encompassing a variety of roles including Teller, Branch Manager, Personal Banker, and Business Banker.
Rought is an avid traveler and resides with his partner in Malden, MA.
