What kind of controls can I set, and what kind of alerts can I get for my Metro debit and credit cards?

You can turn your cards on and off, in an instant, for any reason. You can block international purchases and set controls and alerts for card transactions based on location, type, and amount.

Where can I find/How can I get the Metro Card Controls app?

Download the Metro Card Controls app from the App Store (link to app) and Google Play (link to app) at any time. Once you do, you’ll also have access to Metro Card Controls in the Metro mobile app.

How many Metro cards can I link to the Metro Card Controls app at one time?

You can link all your eligible Metro debit and credit cards to Metro Card Controls, including all the cards of your authorized users, enabling you to turn each card on or off, set controls, and get alerts for each card independently of one another.

Can I used Metro Card Controls to set travel alerts?

Yes! You can set geo-controls in Metro Card Controls when you know you’ll be traveling so you can enjoy uninterrupted service.

Do I need to re-enroll a replacement card if my old card was lost or stolen?

Yes, you would receive a new card and new card number, and you would need to enroll the new card and set your controls again.
